About Pixelim

Pixelim is a marketing partner for tattoo artists, operating from Israel, providing Meta advertising, branding, and operations services on a long-term retainer basis. Our website is pixelim.io. You can contact us at greg@pixelim.io.

Data we access

We access data through official APIs:

Meta APIs: Through our app (ID 1312346574141345), we access ad accounts, campaigns, metrics, and public Instagram posts. We do not access private user data, direct messages, or personal information of end users.

Google Workspace APIs (our own account): Used via OAuth authorization to store reports, contracts, and operational documents on a Pixelim-owned account.

Google Calendar (your account, read-only): Only if you choose to connect it. See Google Calendar below for exactly what we read, store, and show.

WhatsApp Business API: Used to send client reminders and reports.

What you enter in the app: Including details of your own customers on the enquiry desk, and any file of figures you upload from another system. See Your customers' details below for exactly what is kept and who sees it.

Google Calendar

Connecting your Google Calendar is optional and is never required to use Pixelim. If you connect it, we request a single scope, calendar.readonly, which is read-only. Pixelim cannot create, change, or delete anything in your calendar.

What we read. Events from your primary calendar in a window around today, so your week appears inside the Pixelim app alongside your campaign results. We store each event's start time, end time, whether it is all-day, and its title.

Who can see it. You, and only you. An appointment title is usually your customer's name, so our own staff screens are built to show times and counts and never titles. This is enforced in the database, not only in the interface.

Where the credential lives. Your authorization is exchanged on our own server and the resulting token is stored there. It is never placed in the web app, in the browser, or in the application database, and it is never shared with anyone.

Disconnecting. You can disconnect at any time from Settings inside the app, which deletes the stored events and the token. You can also revoke Pixelim's access directly from your Google Account under Third-party apps with account access, which takes effect immediately and without telling us first.

Limited Use. Pixelim's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, we do not sell or transfer it, we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission or where required by law, and we do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Your customers' details

The Pixelim app helps you keep track of the people who contact you. Everything on the enquiry desk is entered by you. We do not collect it from anyone else. For each enquiry you can record a first name or nickname, their Instagram username, where it came from (for example Instagram or a referral), where it stands, and a date to be reminded about it.

Phone numbers. A phone number can be added only after a consultation has been booked, never on an enquiry before that. If the enquiry is moved back or marked as not closed, the number is deleted automatically. Both rules are enforced in the database, not only in the interface.

Instagram usernames. A username can be added at any stage, because that is usually where the conversation is happening. It is used only to open that conversation for you, and it is deleted automatically if the enquiry is marked as not closed.

Files you upload. If you upload a file of figures from another system, it may include your customers' details. We read the monthly totals from it, such as enquiries, consultations, bookings and revenue, and keep only those. We do not copy names, usernames or numbers out of it. The file itself is deleted once the totals are entered, and within 30 days of upload in any case.

Who can see it. You, and anyone you have given access to your account. Our own staff screens are built to show counts and totals, never your customers' names, usernames or phone numbers.

What we do with it. Nothing beyond showing it back to you. The only automated use is a reminder you set yourself, which is sent to your own device and names the person, never their username or phone number. We never contact your customers, never use their details for advertising, and never sell or share them.

Your part. These are your customers, and you decide what to record about them. Keep only what you need to follow up, and remove details when someone asks you to. You can change or clear a name, a username or a number at any time on the enquiry itself.

Deletion. You can ask us to delete them at any time, including when your engagement ends, by writing to greg@pixelim.io, and we will do so within 30 days.

Free tools on this site

The calculators at pixelim.io/tools work in your browser and never ask for your name, email or an account. When a calculation is finished, we keep an anonymous copy of the numbers you entered and the result, together with the name of the tool and the page it ran on, in a Google Sheet.

We do not record cookies, IP addresses or anything else that identifies you with those numbers. A random code that exists only for that visit lets us keep just your final result, and session-recording tools on this site are set to ignore what you type into the calculators. We use the numbers in aggregate, to understand what tattoo artists aim for and to improve the tools and our content.

How we use the data

We use accessed data to run Meta campaigns, generate performance reports, send client updates, and handle invoicing. We do not use client or ad account data for any purpose other than operating the service.

Storage and retention

Performance data is stored transiently or in Google Drive and internal databases during engagements plus a reasonable archive period.

A customer's phone number is kept only while their enquiry is at a booked consultation or closed, and is deleted automatically if it moves back or is marked as not closed.

A file you upload from another system is deleted once its monthly totals are entered, and within 30 days of upload in any case.

Google Calendar events are kept only for the current window and are refreshed rather than accumulated. Disconnecting removes them immediately. Ending your engagement with Pixelim removes them along with the rest of your data.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share client or end-user data with third parties. Access is restricted to relevant staff.

Security and client rights

Credentials use restricted-access storage and least-privilege scopes. Clients can revoke access anytime or request deletion within 30 days by contacting greg@pixelim.io. We will delete your data on request, and connected integrations can be disconnected yourself at any time without asking us.
