3.6X Project Value in Nine Months - The Gooli Ink Story
How Gooli went from a tough summer and small projects to fully booked with giant work, 3.6x project value in nine months, and 4-5x profit.
By Greg Gelf
Gooli was introduced to us in September 2025 by Kfir - one of our OG artists.
The first thing you notice about Gooli is her energy. Energetic, charismatic, fun to be around, hardworking, and very creative. That personality shows up in her art too - bold red colors, deep admiration for Japanese concepts, a style that fits her exactly.
The art was strong. But she wanted bigger projects.
What Was Working, and What Wasn’t
Gooli came to us after a tough summer. She was working, but not at full capacity. Work was coming in - just not the kind of work she wanted to be doing.
Projects were smaller than what she was capable of. There was no system to get the perfect projects consistently. And frankly, she hadn’t done many big projects before, so there was nothing predictable to build on.
The gap wasn’t about talent. It was about which clients were finding her, and what they were asking for.
The Strategy: Narrow the Audience, Reward the Right Work
The first thing we found was that Gooli’s best clients were surprisingly homogeneous. Once we saw the pattern, we tailored her brand to fit that specific audience as tightly as possible.
Then we built a pricing strategy that rewarded closing bigger projects. Smaller work still had a place, but it was lightly discouraged - the price for a single-day session went up, so the math clearly favored the big projects we wanted to attract.
To support all of this, we ran ads. The results surprised even us.
What Actually Worked
We went BIG with imagined projects. Before the biggest project was ever inked, it was imagined - and used as an ad. One of those “imagined project” ads we launched in the first few months closed a few months of work all on its own.
We rewarded bigger projects, lightly punished smaller ones. The pricing structure made saying no to small projects easy, and closing big ones exciting. Every month’s bookings filled roughly two months out. By July 2026 the whole year was booked. As of August 26, March 2027 is almost full.
That’s more than half a year of visibility, all filled with the kind of work she actually wants to do.
The Numbers
- Within one quarter: average project value grew 2.3x
- Within nine months: average project value grew 3.6x - meaning each client is now worth almost four of the old ones
- Profits grew 4-5x, even though Gooli closes fewer projects per month than before
Fewer clients. Bigger work. Way more money. Way less physical strain.

In Gooli’s Own Words
“Big thanks to the people behind the scenes.
Hadar and Greg, who help me improve my brand, push me forward, and nudge me to make more content when I disappear 🫠
I wouldn’t have gotten here without you.“
Here for you, Gooli :)
What This Story Actually Shows
Same lesson we keep seeing across our artists: growth isn’t about one silver-bullet trick. It’s about many parts of a system moving together.
For Gooli, the art was already there. The personality was already there. What was missing was the routing between what she wanted to make and who was asking for it - plus a pricing structure that made it easy to say yes to the right work and no to the wrong.
Once those pieces clicked into place, the same artist and the same art produced completely different results.
